finally I finished Alice through the looking glass!!! it is also based on the book (like Alice in Wonderland) and drawing it was just like waaaaaaaa so much fun but colouring was a bit troublesome this time because I only used a few coulours (as you can see^^) and I wanted them to fit perfect and be on the right place, so they are well balanced and stuff^^ but drawing the characters was so much fun again
my favourite colour scheme happens to be red and black. the grey adds an interesting overtone to the perspective, maybe drawing a blur between the blend and mid-tone from the dark the light, the red makes everything pop out, it's interesting how you decided to add red to the specific parts, maybe it's a way of high lighting, but also dividing the sectors from the biological as well as the mechanical elements to this piece. I like how it's on what looks like a chess board, maybe it's your interpretation of the world, the people, how society is torn apart by the games people play. good work.
This is my first time, critiquing a piece like this so I'll try to cover the basics first. First off, wow. I'll take a moment and enunciate that properly. I absolutely adore the singular colour effect here. You didn't miss a thing from the books either, which makes me love this even more. The effort is obvious from this. Its chaotic, gorgeous and outright mind-blowing at first sight.
The details itself are remarkable and at a first look, it looks full, which I'm sure was intended because in pieces like this, the more the influx of ideas, the more insane your picture looks, which works in your favour doubtlessly.
This piece blew me away and I have little say against it. Thank you for sharing. And keep up the great work.
