X is for xylogenous by Nilanja X is for xylogenous by Nilanja
I want to finally finish my alphabet project and start a new one. So I was looking for a word with X. xylogenous sounded nice so I started this experiment. It is no square but I like it C:

It means living in or on wood^^

Das Wort musste ich erstmal googlen. :D

Finde ich sehr gut gelungen, vor allem weil Du über das ganze Bild noch eine Textur gelegt hast. Dadurch sieht es irgendwie homogener aus, bzw. authentischer. ;) Der Bezug zum Titel hat sich mir dann aber erst auf den zweiten Blick erschlossen. Vielleicht wäre es auch eine Idee gewesen, z. B. den Querschnitt eines Baumes mit all seinen Jahresringen als Overlay zu verwenden. Andererseits hätte das dann vermutlich schon wieder ziemlich plakativ gewirkt.
